‘The Cavalier Daily’ Reports on ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµAPP¹Ù꿉۪s "Best Colleges" List
The Cavalier Daily today on the University of Virginia's (UVA's) proud distinction as one of the best colleges for free speech. Released yesterday in The Huffington Post, FIRE's recognized UVA for the second straight year.
FIRE worked with UVA in the fall of 2010 to revise several speech codes which had restricted student speech on campus, and we were very pleased to welcome them as a "green light" school in October 2010. As The Cavalier Daily , the school has continued to live up to this rating in the past year in the midst of controversy over the resignation and reinstatement of President Teresa Sullivan.
