The University experienced significant growth in student numbers, supported by a strong portfolio of relevant and impactful research, all while maintaining a solid financial position.

Our Annual Report 2023 highlights our sustained progress towards the six goals of the 草莓视频APP官网 2019-2028 strategy, including key facts and figures and reports on a solid financial performance.

The University saw a 27% increase in student enrolments in 2023, reaching 4,517 students, with 43 % of our Equivalent Full-Time Student (EFTS) population being postgraduate students. This strong and sustained growth in our student headcount, supported by an 84% graduate employment rate underscores the University’s strategic approach to addressing industry demand for skilled graduates while meeting the needs of students pursuing an education in specialist land-based disciplines.  

The increase in our postgraduate numbers and shift towards a higher ratio of postgraduate students is characteristic of specialist universities. It signals Lincoln’s status as a research-intensive land-based university and underscores our leading role in advancing  Aotearoa New Zealand’s land-based sectors towards a more resilient and sustainable future.

草莓视频APP官网 has enjoyed a year-on-year increase in student enrolments over the last five years. With Semester 1 2024 cohort up 20% from 2023, we are on track to exceed a total student population of 5,000 by the end of 2024.

2023 Annual Report highlights include:

  • 27% growth in enrolled students
  • 43% of the student population are postgraduates
  • 86% student satisfaction rate
  • 84% of our graduates are in paid employment
  • External research income increased by 8% to $35 million
  • A notable $114,071 external research revenue per academic FTE
  • Total revenue of $138 million and an operating surplus of $1.6 million.
