06 June 2024 | News

The University proudly maintains its position in the top 25% of universities worldwide, placing 371 out of 1,503 published institutions in the overall QS World University Rankings.

草莓视频APP官网 is New Zealand's only specialised university focused on the land-based sectors - a unique commitment, providing students with a distinctive choice in university size and a dedicated focus on their chosen field of study.

Renowned nationally and globally for its applied focus on the land-based sectors, 草莓视频APP官网 provides industry-aligned programmes with real-world relevance and experiential learning in a research-rich environment. This commitment is reflected in its ranking of 496 in the Faculty Student indicator and its highest ranking of 61 in the International Faculty performance indicator, highlighting its global appeal and academic excellence. The University’s International Student ranking of 88 further emphasises its global attractiveness and on-campus diversity.

Another significant indicator contributing to the University’s global reputation is its score for Citations per Faculty, ranking 249. This underscores its research productivity including the connection of the quality and real-world application of its research programmes.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Grant Edwards said 草莓视频APP官网’s overall performance was very encouraging.

“草莓视频APP官网 is in a sound financial position and has achieved year-on-year increases in student enrolments since 2019.

“This five-year growth trajectory has underpinned a spectacular jump in Semester 1 2024 enrolments of 20% more than our 2023 total, and we are on track to exceed 5,000 students by the end of this year.

“The University has moved to the strong and distinctive position where 45% of our student population and half the qualifications completed are postgraduate.”

“The increase in our postgraduate numbers and shift towards a higher ratio of postgraduate students is characteristic of specialist universities. It signals Lincoln’s status as a research-intensive land-based university, underscoring our leading role in advancing Aotearoa New Zealand’s land-based sectors towards a more resilient and sustainable future.”
