If you are studying towards a bachelor's degree, you may be able to include an additional major or minor, which will add depth and flexibility to your qualification.
Not all additional majors or minors are compatible with all bachelor¡¯s degrees, so we strongly advise that you check with your degree coordinator.

Majors

Use economics to solve real-world problems and gain the expertise to help address a range of global issues. Develop the ability to quantitatively analyse value chains, a skill that is highly sought-after by employers.

Are you studying agriculture, environmental science, tourism management, land and property management, landscape architecture or recreation management? This major is strongly aligned with these areas and will give you the skills you need to pursue a career that focuses on protecting the environment.

Prepare for public and private sector roles in parks and reserves management, visitor services, recreation policy and planning or nature-based tourism.
The Department of Conservation (DOC) offers a number of $5,000 scholarships to talented Lincoln bachelor's degree students undertaking this major.

A minor is an area of interest in a separate discipline. It often complements a major.
The 300-level courses taken in a minor must be different from the 300-level courses taken for the degree, or another major.

The Accounting minor consists of five courses: two 100-level courses, two 200-level courses and one 300-level course.
